African American Museum in Philadelphia — Interior

Reimagined a previously underutilized interior corridor at the African American Museum in Philadelphia as a visual tribute to Philadelphia’s cultural legacy. The redesign replaced a dated maroon wall with a dynamic, color-coded installation celebrating the city’s influential artists, athletes, activists, entertainers, educators, and cultural figures. Using portraiture, collage, typography, and the museum’s signature palette, the corridor became an extension of the museum’s storytelling—transforming a transitional space into an immersive celebration of Philadelphia’s Black history and cultural impact.
